It's OK. The sub i had from the Calgary one wasn't good at all. Not as fresh. The one in Okotoks was much better.
Looking forward to the arrival of Jersey Mike's. That's the game changer.

They announced a major Canadian expansion. But no specific location announcements yet.

What's so special of Jersey Mike's compared to the other sandwich chains?

For a $20 CAD sub? Nothing.

Has anyone tried that Earl of Sandwich on 130th? I heard that was supposed to be a great American sandwich place, but I just haven't made it in yet. However, I also haven't heard of anyone hyping it up or saying they went there and it's worth it or anything, either.

I’m a big fan. We always used to hit up the Vegas locations, so it is nice to have one in Calgary now. I love the turkey feast sandwich and it is always my go to. I tried the Nashville chicken special one time and it wasn’t great. Their kids meal options are actually pretty decent too.

I had an Earl of Sandwich sandwich last week and I thought it was pretty good.

I had my first one last week in Florida. It's a gigantic tasty sub.
I would pay premium for it, its way better than say subway. On occasion of course the thing was a heart attack roll.

Wish we had a Jimmy John's here; they make amazing subs that always turn me into a glutton full of happy shame!

Just tried Firehouse Subs (Okotoks location); it was small but busy, meal was good and very filling. It was about $17 for a foot long which seemed massive with all the meat/toppings

It's just better. Better ingredients, better bread, and they do the oil/vinegar/oregano thing that is killer.
I liked Blimpie when it was here. It's like that, but better.

It doesn't come with the American chain hype, but if you guys want a solid sub, give Peppino in Kensington a try.

Yup I haven't tried these American chains but Peppino is excellent, hard to imagine how anything could be better.

They have a few locations now. There are better sandwich places but they're a solid choice and have a huge selection with good prices.

I don't know how a redesign would solve those problems.

The most disappointing sandwich myself and FlameOn! have ever had. All hype and no delivery.

Is it better than the one in the +15 south of Shell? That was another hyped sandwich that was just a deep disappointment
