I have tried for a couple of years to get some clover to survive. I just can’t get any to last. I have never had healthy grass there either, which is why I was hoping for clover. My sheep fescue still looks pretty good. Seems to hold up a lot better in the dry. And I rarely mow it. Wish I didn't have to tear up my lawn first to get it established.

Totally absurd to the point where I was actually annoyed the dude wasted so much of my time screwing around with things and several meetings just to hit me with that insane quote. Anyway, found a guy on Kijiji with really good reviews and I'm rolling the dice on him. His portfolio seems good, reviews are good and his communication skills and plan have my mind at ease. He's coming in at under $25k, but a large part of that is a retaining wall situation I need because my house is on a hill. Without the wall the price would be much better, I'm sure.

Should be done by mid-July...if I remember I'll shoot you pics and let you know how it went when done. Feel free to PM me if I forget.

When he met my dog I did have to be careful that I wasn't about to witness his extermination!

Seriously though, seems like a great guy and he/his business did some excellent work for me. I wouldn't breach his confidentiality in saying what that is, but I'd give him at 4/4.5 stars for sure!

Haha, I'm softening on dogs, anyway. One of my employees (the third I've allowed to do this) brings his dog in every day and I love that fricken thing. He's Mr. Perfect in my eyes. On days he doesn't come in it's a total downer. The other two dogs that used to come in I just sort of ignored/tolerated, but this guy rules.
