I'm not sure why you'd look for logical consistency in anything these muppets do.
As someone who loves everything Jim Henson, I find your use of the term muppets for these people as offensive to everything the Muppets stand for!

Temporary fencing is the only skill they would have that comes to mind. Oh, I guess sign holders. They can do that.
I've been looking for a guy to honk a horn for five weeks solid, but it's a night position so has been hard to fill. Maybe if I allow the successful candidate to bring his kids and set up a bouncy castle I could get one of these guys to apply.
