Woke up at 5AM like a kid on Xmas. Had a small 10 min wait to get on and que, which worked perfect to make coffee. Up to LL 339 and just finished the new strike.

Has been a fun morning. Looking forward to the next few days.

The campaign is pretty good so far! Lots of new areas to explore!

Without giving away too much, how is the light level grind with limited time to play I am wondering if I will be "raid ready" by Sunday.

2.5 hours in and I've only bumped myself up to 338 light, but I haven't unlocked the strike or Archon's forge yet.
That might make gaining light easier.

It's a little thin mission-wise.
Haven't really had any new legendary weapon drops yet so I can't comment on that.
The new strike is fun, but a little confusing at first.
Getting the new Gjallarhorn was a bit of a pain in the butt!

I should be online around 700pm tonight if anyone wants to run a few missions etc...

Hit me up at Mccree13 (PSN)

I should add that I might be playing with my kid (9 year old) He doesn't talk much when in a large party

I have a crazy schedule this week, Grande Prairie yesterday and today, hockey tonight, in red deer tomorrow and Thursday, Lethbridge on Friday. Daughter's bday party on the weekend. Trying to find time for Destiny will be tough!

I see what you mean by a little thin. I enjoyed it though. Off to do some new strikes!

Got to level 341 last night. I have enjoyed the update a lot, pretty fun. No idea how the Archon Forage works but I know you will need some splicer keys to get back in if you don;t wait for a revive.

As I understand you can hold upto 10 splicer keys per charachter and they drop from some queen in the plaguelands.

I had one of the offerings you need to get into the forge drop for me yesterday. Me and a buddy and gonna go try and find and farm this queen for keys then head off to the forge. I guess the forge is a public event so upto 9 randoms can partake.

The Brood Mother wizards in the plague lands drop splicer keys 100% of the time, in case anyone was trying to figure out where to find them.
I think Archon's Forge is similar to Court of Oryx, but from what I understand, if you die and no one revives you, you'll need to use a splicer key to get back into the arena.
I've only seen one other person in the forge area so far, so I've only accidentally completed one. I'm hoping everyone was busy with the story, and more people will be hanging out there moe later.

Got up to 351 last night, after running a few 350 strikes.

Hit LL 352 last night, finding the grind from ~348 to 352 has been fairly slow and a bit of a grind. Hoping to knock out some strikes and nightfall tonight to get as close to 360 as I can for the weekend.

Nightfall was awful. Just awful lol. We did it with a crew at 345-348, but dat arc burn with the sniper shanks at the end... Mind you my Titan is as 352 now as well, so it might be slightly better at that LL.

Well I am sad. My son does have hockey Sunday at 2:15. I will have to bow out of the raid if we start on 1pm. I will be available later on Sunday (after 4)

I spent a bit of time in the forge last night. I ran 4 events, 2 easy, 1 medium and 1 hard one. I am currently 348 LL and the easy and med were ok but omg the hard one is stupid hard. Honestly I found it somewhat a waste of time as I did not get one engram to decode at a higher LL than anything I already had.

Im finding the grind to 365 to be difficult. I suppose ill just stick to strikes for now.
