Not to negate the point you were making because it's still a good one, but Sec just said those GIFs weren't about Hanifin.
He was presumably just posting "things are happening" type of GIFs regarding Markstrom.

Hey Sec - is Chris Johnston out to lunch saying Markstrom isn’t likely happening and the flames are basically done? 48 hours is a lot of time remaining in context to the nhl TDL.

Conroy, did his typical call around to see if anyone wants to step up to the plate and Las Vegas certainly did. Dis posted it and I responded with a GIF. So credit goes to him we herd something similar in the same time frame.
I believe it came down to both Florida teams and Vegas.
Lundell was never put on table. Tampa didn't have the value in the prospects.
We'll see the return....

I've been told the team is open for business outside of Noah. In the last 24 hours, I've also been told that the Markstrom deal isn't dead but will most likely be revisited in the summer unless Mercer is put on the table.

As much as I'm pissed that Markstrom likely won't be dealt, perhaps it's for the best that Conroy holds the line and doesn't give away guys, especially when he doesn't have to, and they haven't met his price. But man, a few weeks ago was the perfect time for NJ, and us given the uncertainty around how he'll perform down the stretch. Can't think the off-season yields that much better considering there will be more supply out there.

It’s all about getting mercer back in trade. I’m not sure why fitz dragged his feet on this. I can safely say if try’s to get saros or ullmark they will want mercer in the deal also

that's the case for every team Hanifin was willing to go to
also to be honest, VGK are not having a great stretch, they've fallen into a wildcard spot. That could be a mid teens pick.

Edstrom and Siplavlovs are solid prospects. Either one is good.
Would prefer Edstrom because he's 19.

I’m afraid of this. Markstrom might not look so good behind this defence without Tanev & Hanifin for the remainder of the season.
