I think we’ll start to see some movement.
The big guys always seem to move prior to the TDL day bonanza.

I would be sad, as I have come to like the notion of keeping whitecloud and moving on from weegar, but I would accept it as a part of the rebuilding process.

I am excited to see some more trades.

Yea the break was super quiet but everyone took vacays so it was to be expected.

They’ve had a ton of internal chatter the last few days, I think they’ve got a pretty good idea what the game plan is and I fully expect to see a handful of guys moved.

Kadri and Coleman have both garnered real offers, ones I don’t think you’ll be able to ignore.

I think we see at least a dman moved, wether it’s Whitecloud or a Pachal/Hanley is remained to be seen… they seem to be pretty high on Zach so unless it’s a great offer I don’t think there’s a rush to move him.

Not sure about Weegar, his status is a bit different like I said before, but if he’s given Craig the green light to rather move on than rebuild (which seems odd) than there’s a long list of teams looking for that pick moving RHD (DET, SJ, OTT)

Then I wonder about a bottom 6 forward, but that would be a lot of movement… again depends on the offers.

So the talk if kadri and offers is more than just talk? That part is interesting because it really puts the onus on conroy and direction.

I have stated right from the get go we have assets that correspond with league wants and thats almost unheard of for this organization. I hope Conroy has the sense to take advantage of it.

I like Whitecloud's game enough to hang on to him. Shipping Pachal/Hanley makes more sense. assuming any team is interested.

Yeah I like the player.

The trade tree would be fun with the Andersson trade getting boosted, but there is a strong case to hang on to the guy.

Hoping they set a strong price and won't budge.

But if that price is met, I'm happy to see the asset management.

So I guess I hope the strong price isn't set to avoid moving him, but high so they get what they want and move on if that's the case.

If i was in conroys boots i wouldnt trade kadri without some type if center coming back. Could he go for just futures? Possible, but not likely as i dont see them retaining on kadri which means something is probably coming back.

Kadri is the only legit top six center we have if he gets traded the team will utterly nosedive which management has said they dont want to do.

Wasnt about direction as much as return choice and how it looks in the immediate.

Gees, the amount of disrespect Backlund takes...

To me I dont have an issue with finishing the season with Backlund, Frost, Zary, Beecher, Morton, Kirkland as our center depth.

As simple as it sounds I would just trade Kadri for the best value I could get and not worry about a specific position.
