My cousin works at the photo departement at the Technical Museum in Stockholm, and just send me this link of photos they have found of people doing "winter sports" in their archive.

From around Stockholm, 1890-1900. The one with the bears kills me every time I see it.

Where is the old building located, near Calgary? I need to find a place (like that) to do a shoot for my coat rack.

Nothing super special, but I took this from my DJI Phantom Vision drone at about 750 feet. Maui Sunset, in Kihei last week.

I'll never claim these as being the best photos and the camera they were taken on wasn't amazing by any means... but I still they are a neat set of photos. I got these all from one hunting trip up by Hinton, Alberta in November 2010:

Thanks!

That little dude is an Ermine. He was really cool, I had never seen one before in person.

That was a deer we had got early in the week. It was hanging from a tree, covered by a game bag which are made of basically cheesecloth. It keeps bugs and critters off of the animal.

Except Ermine apparently. He chewed through the cloth and was sharing our deer.

Brazen little guy also jumped into the back of our truck and stole a ruffed grouse I had shot earlier in the day. He tried to drag it back to his burrow but he couldn't fit it inside... it was pretty funny.

Wow, I totally forgot about ermines. So cute.

And it never occurred to me it could be a deer. They are hunt trip photos, after all. Duh, smh.

Wow, ermines/stoats are aggressive little buggers.

We supposedly have minks here in Florida, but I've never seen one.

In fact, we are supposed to report any sightings to Fish and Wildlife.

Sounds like a job for Mr Nikon lol.
