Wow, did anyone else see Remy go down after attempting the bicycle kick on Pletikosa in the France/Croatia friendly? I had the volume down so I couldn't tell if was his neck or shoulder, but it looked real bad. The game itself finished 0-0. That's a perfect personification result of two struggling squads.

I watched most of this match and Canada looked great! They were distributing the ball well and using great speed on the wings. That's definitely some solid momentum for the Gold Cup.

The Germany/Austria game should be good, Germany has it wrapped up but Austria has it all to play for, should be interesting to see what happens in that match.

Other than that, I'm not expecting too many surprises. France can always choke, but beyond that all the rest of the fixtures should be pretty standard.

If you hear screaming...that will be me. Croatia lost a stinker to Georgia back in March. Runje let in the only shot on goal. I have little confidence in him back there. It would be better to start Pletikosa, but Bilic doesn't trust my decision making skills

ya I didn't understand that, I thought Bilic was great at Euro 2008 and the qualifying for it

but ever since he has made some strange decisions, he plays Modric out of position as well at times. Just stick him in the centre and tell him to run the games

I agree 100%. Modric, IMO, is a game breaker but Bilic takes his skill for granted. I've seen today's starting lineup and it looks week on the backend. I'm not overly optimistic that they'll get more than a tie. My predication is a goal for Croatia by Jelavic, but that's all I'm predicting on that one.

Liechtenstein is beating Lithuania 2-0. This would be a huge result for the Czechs and the Scots.

Croatia is just lost. And what an awful sub by Bilic at the half.

Phew! And I was furious at those subs, but they had the heart to get it done.

HUGE MATCH in Group H tomorrow. Portugal at home to Norway. Norway has 10 pts in first place, Portugal has 7. Denmark is tied with Portugal and plays Iceland. So if the results go the way they should, we could have a 3 way tie for 1st place in the small 5 team group, with only 3 games remaining.

Portugal have looked like a different team since Queiroz left, so as a Portugal fan, I'm relatively optimistic that they can still win this group.

Really looking forward to this one, Portugal hasn't played a meaningful match since last November.

Switzerland look like they are going to score 4 or 5 here, completely dominating

Portugal dominate first half, but were 0-0. They score an early one in the second half and sit on it for the 1-0 win. It wasn't a bad game, but would have liked to have seen Portugal attack more. It's not like they were throwing 10 guys behind the ball and let Norway attack them. Not at all. Portugal dominated possesion the entire game, and Norway maybe had one decent chance the entire match.

Denamrk also won in Group H, so we now have a 3 way tie for first place with Portugal, Norway and Denmark all have 10 points with 3 games left. Should be a fun finish.

FORCA PORTUGAL!
