Everton 2 - 0 Liverpool

I really hope that Liverpool start winning football matches. All of this Merseyside drama is making their fan base even more annoying to listen to.

I know its a bigger club he is at now but Roy was such a nice fit with Fulham, a great story, not so much this year so far.

He's better for them because the tactics are simpler. He has somehow screwed up one of the best defenses in the league, played extremely negative football(something that despite myths Rafa wasn't) and done everything the opposite of Rafa.
Rafa zonal, Hodgson man
Rafa rotational, Hodgson A + B team(which is horrendous)
Rafa defends the club, questions owners Hodgson doesn't licks Fergie's ass, and calls every club difficult
Rafa extremely humble, Hodgson arrogant
Rafa tactically brilliant, Hodgson is equivalent to a u-10 div 5 volunteer coach

While on MotD they were saying this is the case because Gallas was not in the keeper's line of sight, wasn't he in the ball's flight path? If he was, a case could have been made that he could have deflected it and this is something the keeper would have had to account for, therefore, making Gallas an active player.

ya I saw that as well, I don't think he was because Gallas did try to hit the ball but missed which in itself was stupid
they showed the view from behind Huddlestone's shot and there was no way Schwarzer was obstructed by him, he wasn't looking at Gallas. He was straight on with the ball and would have saved it but it went off one of the Fulham defenders

a bunch of places are reporting now that the problems between Rooney and Fergie are so deep that Rooney could leave in January
whether or not he goes, them finishing outside the top 4 this year wouldn't surprise me
their midfield used to be the class of the league ad thats why they had so much success, I would take probly 6 or 7 different midfields over theirs right now

Tottenham finishing ahead of Berbatov in the standings would almost - almost - as sweet as finishing ahead of Arsenal.
I don't see either happening though.

This isn't the first time that Fergie has fallen out with big name players. Beckham, Stam, van Nistelrooy have all been on the receiving end of Fergie's wrath. The only person that is bigger than Manchester United is Fergie - no one else. He'll run anyone and everyone out if they cross him publicly or privately.
Insiders believe that Rooney wants out in January and that he won't sign an new deal. He's being linked to Chelsea, Man City, Madrid and Barcelona.
I'm sure this will only get bigger.
Edit:
Wayne Rooney 'will not sign new Manchester United deal'

I think he goes to Madrid
I don't think even the Glazers are dumb enough to sell him to Man City because the backlash there would be massive
I don't know if Abramovich has the money any more and kind of the same thing with Barca
Madrid has his buddy Ronaldo, Mourinho, and Fergie has always liked Benzema so a Rooney for Benzema + cash deal could probably work

I recall they talked about this structure of a deal on the Guardian. Certainly sounds interesting.

Nobody actually believed Rooney was injured. I'm not sure who these people you guys are talking about are. Ferguson always has, and always will, lie to the media when it comes to this stuff. He always deals with issues in players personal lives behind closed doors and tells the media it's because of an injury. Always has, always will.
Only difference is Rooney called him on it which is bound to infuriate Sir Alex. If Rooney goes, hopefully it's for a decent price that will "skew" spending numbers ROFL.
Hopefully that giant cat Nuje doesn't report my post for perceived trolling. That would be the end of my life.

Ignorant. It does skew spending. The United team has cost more per player for both starting XI and the bench than any Reds side has since 2004. Ferguson has far outspent Rafa and one transfer fee allows one to spin the story.

Fantastic press conference that. Fergie looked shell-shocked and like he has accepted defeat. He denied a falling out but no one really cares about that. He looked completely surprised over why Rooney would want to leave.
He looked almost human in that press conference. This looks to have knocked some of his trademark smug arrogance out.
This is hotting up.

This is the time to invest, scotch sales in Manchester are about to skyrocket methinks.
I love it. I hate Wayne Rooney, and I especially hate Sir Assex Turdison. And we all hate United. Excellent news.
Oh, and I hate Real Madrid, so I hope they buy him from United for £10 and then wind up paying him £500,000/week to mope around and not score goals.
