I thought the same thing too, but I looked up cancellation fees. About $400. So they'd probably just laugh at me...

But Rogers was the only GSM network for those years. When Bell and Telus launched a network compatible with iPhone they had the iPhone.

Thats because no one else ran on a GSM network. Once Telus and Bell had their GSM networks up they had the Iphone launched within one month of the GSM Network Launch.

Heh.. they could have had one still, Rogers probably didn't know when Telus/Bell would launch GSM and maybe wanted to have it exclusive for a few years, but we'll probably never know for sure.

Rogers only had it solely for a year and a bit, since fall (summer?) 2008 until last December.
