Celtics get about 30 easy baskets a game and their D gives the Lakers maybe 2. Gasol/Odom have looked like trash most of the series. Boston definitely wants it more and deserves to be up 3-2 in this series.

Ron Artest is shooting 32% in the series. Pau never showed up tonight. Odom still has yet to show up. Bynum only had 1 rebound in 30+ minutes.
Pierce played well.
The Lakers need to make some big changes or else they will be eliminated soon, even with the next two games at home.

If the Celtics manage to win it's a toss-up between Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo for Finals MVP. I think it goes to Rondo at this point, but any of them could get it.
Could Kobe win Finals MVP even if the Lakers lose the series?

Has it ever happened in the NBA where the finals MVP has been on the losing team? edit: a bit of research shows it was last done by Jerry West in 69 (for the Lakers against the Celtics).
But yes, I'd be very tempted to give it to Kobe. For the Celtics, I'd say Rondo, although if Pierce continues to play the way he did last night, he could get it too.

Pretty excited for Game 6 tonight. Kobe will have to have a great game, he's been the best player in the series by far.
If Ray Allen has a big game tonight, Celtics win the Championship. If he struggles, the Lakers come back and win in 7.

I hope the Lakers can win tonight, that way they will take the momentum and confidence into game 7. I think the Lakers have to get off to a good start tonight so some of their supporting cast to Kobe (Pau, Bynum, Artest, eventually Odom) can get their mojo back.

They really need Bynum to play well. I hope that knee doesn't bother them, otherwise, the Lakers are going to struggle with D again, especially in the paint. The Celtics have also been out-rebounding the Lakers for the last two games when Bynum has had limited minutes.

Actually, Bynum had 30 minutes last game and had only 1 rebound I think... He needs to play better.

Former Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell is expected to be named to Avery Johnson's coaching staff in New Jersey.

About time Artest and Odom show up. Lakers bench played great today and Pau was outstanding finding open guys. Game 7 should be great.

Game 7...always exciting. Lakes have to be favoured being at home and the Celtics without Perkins. The Celtics have surprised everyone these playoffs though, and I could see all of the big 3 really go off tonight.

Bryant is gonna dominate. I was never a fan of the guy until he turned around after the infamous hotel incident and he's been the best player in the game hands down. If it comes down to that clutch shot, he's the man, and there's no way I go against that no matter how deep Boston's scorers are.
