Excellent. I'm going to get my skates sharpened and will likely pick up a new stick. Because, as you know, that's obviously the reason for my current suckage. Like a bad carpenter blaming his tools, that's how I roll.

Did you pick up waterbottles yet or do we have to drink beer again?

hey, what skill level would you say the puckers are this year? could you compare to a div 1 or div 2 league team, like the cahl?

I don't think so. I've never heard of that league, but we're more a middle of the road type of team. We definitly have a few players that could compete at a div 1 level of most leagues. But overall, we're more like a div C/5/6 team.

Good night in all, except for Jayems tailing me most of the drive home, it was a little creepy.

the reason i ask, is because my team, which is now only a travel team, have ice times on a weekly basis. since we only play shinny against each other, playing a game again would be fun.
maybe a 'blades of steel' vs 'calgary puckers' exhibition game could be worked out? i'll talk to my team and see what they think.

So next game is Saturday, Dec. 5 9:30 p.m. in Chestermere.
- Neil still suspended for this game.
- Brett suspended for two. (Not listed on suspension page, however, a 5 and a misconduct always result in 2 games)
- Jeff L. will not be there
Who else isn't coming and what's the spare list looking like?

I say roll 2 forward lines and 4 D.
And, Brett has been suspended officially for 2 games.

Well, the kneeing suspension was not really warranted. They connected more shin on shin and it wasn't deliberate. But their guy went flying and doing cartwheels. Couple that with the fact that their ENTIRE team would fall to the ice and wither in 'pain' to draw penalties... it was a farce. So no one really knew if the guy was actually hurt or not because of how they played. But, I think the refs had to call it, so I can't blame them. But I've never seen anything like how that team played in a rec hockey game before. The goalie had a 3 second delayed reaction when he got barely nudged and flew around back into his net. Thankfully the refs were quick to their shenanigans and stopped calling us.
I didn't see the second elbowing incident but it was a retaliatory penalty that I'm sure was deserved.
I know you had green text, but I thought I'd explain what happened anyways. We only goon it up when we're hammered... and it's Halloween.

We've outfitted Mr. Ong with a special goalie stick to try and deal with you.
