You guys are crazy! There is nothing 'unfair' about the coup d'etat - this is Big Brother. The 'unfairness' of the coup is at least on par with granting the athletes an extra player, or having an America's Player as in seasons past.
Essentially both sides have been given a freebie, and things might actually get entertaining now, as opposed to the Jesse/Natalie bully show just picking off the other team week after week.

I have stayed away from this thread for two weeks because I didn't want any spoilers, and now that I've read it, I'm disappointed there isn't more juicy details on what is happening, and/or links to more nude pics of Jordan.
She's getting cuter by the week.

Chima and Natalie threatened to quit to CBS but were talked out of it. What a bunch of babies. I'm so glad Chima is pouting. She is a hypocrite. She says people treat her bad when she is a poor excuse for a person in what she says to other people.
Michelle is hanging out with Jordan a lot after HOH tonight.

Those girls are such bitter bitches, all the tears for Jessie, as if he's dead. I can't believe how badly they're behaving and some of the things they're saying. I wish Michelle was listening in so she can hear what these two faced girls are saying.

I think it's fair to say that i want Chima dead. Natalie, i would just like to hurt her. But Chima...she is a waste of skin.

Jeff, Jordan, Michele and Russell have been hanging out most of the night and are currently hanging out.
Chima, Natalie, Kevin, Lydia are hanging out at the other side of the house and are scheming on trying to figure out what to tell Michele to put up Russell and Jeff.
As of right now, it's 4 against 4 (although Russell could very easily be put up if the other 4 get to Michele/if Michele can't put behind her personal hatred for Russell).

I thought Lydia would be more of a swing vote after the whole Kevin/Chima thing, and Jeff taking her off the block. I guess she's dumber than I thought.

What you fail to realize is that they are picking them off because they are winning. The only reason Jessie is out because of the producers not because of the way he played the game, they were in complete control at that point. I can tell you I'd be pretty damn pissed off if I was in control and got screwed because the producers thought they needed a stupid reason to spice up the show.

It's not like they didn't know about the power and they've watched season's past. They could pretty much guess what the power would be. They should have changed their game when the power was announced as being out there. I have zero issue with the coup d'etat. It's part of the game. When they went into the house, they knew what they were getting into. A game with twists and turns. I would be pissed but I would accept it.
Being at the jury house all by yourself for a week would be absolutely brutal though.

I think your underestimating the effect of them getting 4 in their clique against the others 3.
And also the fact that the competition to get the extra person was a physical challenge, who did they expect to win it? the brains?
Basically I think the Coup evened up the game, I wish Jessie had not gone because he was a good game player and also didn't make things personal and complain about everything, like chima/natalie and now lydia have been doing.

Problem is the coup d'etat power is completely flawed, the audience will always vote for the popular person. Given that the producers can edit the feed's it would be fairly simple to influence the vote.
I can not imagine, Will winning in one of the earlier seasons if this power was there... (which it was not).

Would disagree, what this power did is totally eliminate Chima as the HOH. Why should she lose her power?
She earned the HoH where Jeff did nothing in the house so far to earn a power.

Arguing that the producers are ruining Big Brother is like complaining that Vince McMahon is ruining wrestling by predetermining the results. If you didn't know it was like that from the first time you watched then shame on you.
If you think the show is 100% real you are out to lunch. Lots of the stuff on the show is made to look a certain way.
I have a couple of female friends whom I hang out with frequently and I've ended up watching a fair number of episodes in the last 3 weeks. It is a stupid fun show.
Personally I'd love nothing more than to see Natalie and Chima out of the house ASAP. Lydia is a total idiot. She's been following Jessie around like a friggin puppy since I've been watching.

You can't possibly be serious? You are worried that BB is unfair? Really? How many times over the seasons have they done completely random stuff to eff things up in the house that are anything from fair?
Plus her power wouldn't have been lost if she would have recruited Jeff or scared him into not using his power like Kevin with his POV power.
If you didn't know by now that reality TV shows are heavily influenced by the producers and editors, or that they are fair in any way shape or form then you might as well think wrestling is real. (although the tv shows are probably significantly less scripted than the WWE, they are still heavily influenced)

If you look at it from Jeffs perspective this takes the target off of Chima's back and puts it on Jeff's 100%. There was major risk of using this power and Jeff thought there was more reward then risk.

How would the power have prevented Will from winnning? He never won any competition and seemed to be on the block every week. No one thought he could win anything until the votes were in at the end.

If you're using that argument(I dont buy it), why wouldn't the producers then edit the show so that they show more controversial characters in a better light or hell, just give the power to someone like Ronnie or Russel. At the end of the day, I can't see them really getting caught. How could they get caught?? It would have been in CBS's best interest to give that power to Ronnie last week, given how plenty of people just despised him and how he was willing to scheme all the time. Him taking himself off the block at the last second and putting up Russel vs whoever would have been great television and Ronnie still being in the game woould have created more viwers.
