True enough. But I'm not really sure who else they could get.

Defense is good, O-Line is good....Oher's a great story but did they need another OL?

We have a speed receiver in Berrian who can stretch the field. We have AP, who is a playmaker. Rosenfels is serviceable. We needed, at least in my opinion, a possession receiver and a RT.

My ideal draft would have been Oher/Britton and Inglesias/Robiskie (pipe dream) in the 2nd.
Instead Childress makes the risky pick, trying to save his job, and I'm not at ALL pleased with that decision at all.

Hey....ANY WR talent to the Eagles is a huge boost. He is a similar player to Jackson and I love his speed and open field capabilities. Eagles may have one of the best all around return games in the NFL now.

The Eagles have shored up their red zone offense with Peters and Weaver. I'm shocked they used a 1st round pick on a WR. Not very Reid-like.

I happen to be a very big fan of this pick.

I think it's a very risky pick. The Cards wanted a first for Boldin. Why not use your pick on a proven guy like that?

Weaknesses:
Durability is a major concern...Very raw as a route runner...'Tweener who might not have a true position...Is not overly physical...Just an average blocker...Did not play in a pro style offense...Never returned a single punt or kick in college...Has character and off-the-field issues.
How many potential red flags is that for Harvin? Like 92,000? Ugh, I'm done. Happy drafting boys & girls.

Dis, hope your son doesn't feel the same way as me about this bone-headed pick.

It's not about what the Cards wanted it's about what Boldin wants. $10M/year.

He doesn't. I had to talk him out of wanting Harvin over the last two weeks. He finally came around. Now he's pretty happy.
