Well if the left field ump doesn't blow one of the easiest calls in baseball they score one easily and probably two.

I'm not even a Twins fan, but that's just inexcusable in a game of this magnitude. The fact that some blind old man decided a game that was really a battle is incredibly disappointing.

How the hell did he miss that call? He was what...15 feet away? leaning in and staring directly at the spot the ball landed. You literally have to be half blind to miss that call. That play is distinguishable from 150 feet away, let alone 15. Idiot.

That was a blown call of epic porportions. Sad that it had to decide a game.

MLB postpones game 3 of the Rockies/Phillies series because it's too cold.

Weak.

Add that to the long list of reasons why I no longer follow baseball.

Baseball umpires are by far the worst officials in all of team sports. They have the most obvious calls, and find a way to consistantly blow them. Now they'll insist on having a foul pole judge in playoff games to give a back view when the fielder blocks the Umpires view, or we get another Jeter home run. You could put 20 umpires on the field and these guys would still miss calls.

Dodgers have a 3-0 lead on St.Louis in the 3rd. Cardinals need to turn it around in the next 6 innings or their season is officially over.

Red Sox were leading 6-4 in the 9th but Papelbon choked and let the Angels get 3 runs. Angels sweep the Red Sox 3 games to 0.

A-Rod ties the game again, this time in the 7th with a solo homer. Wow, what a post season he's having thus far.

And now Posada gives them the lead with a solo jack!

Wow, what a dumb base-running play. Can't beat the Yankees making boneheaded mistakes like that!

-----

Series over.

See Twins? Base hit and runner stops at 3rd. It's not that hard.

Yankees win and give the Twins a baseball lesson at the same time.

Plus a brutal call from an ump in game 2. Still the far better team wins the series.

WTF was that fan doing running acorss the field in an attempt to scale the garbage bag fence in centre field

Than they quickly went to a clip and came back showing him half way over the wall and the security pulling him down and shortly after walking him off the field. I was very surprised they showed it and was actually excited to see a streaker. I haven't seen that on TV in awhile. There's very little more funny than an overweight tub-o-lard running naked and getting tackled by 2 security guards. Unfortunately he was neither a streaker, nor did security get to tackle him.

Absolute crap that again the only way to watch this game today is by subscribing to additional Sportsnet channels. I wish that whole organization would fold so I don't have to watch baseball or hockey on their networks anymore.

So no baseball for three days? the yankees/angels get almost a week off.

Ridiculous. MLB is ######ed, they should have these things go right away.

Yankees and Angels just played yesterday and they both swept. They would have played Game 5 on Wednesday.

There's always days off.. it's a rigid tv schedule.
