On cbc radio this morning they said that flights were on time and still going in the morning but by this afternoon they expected that there would be serious delays and most flights would be cancelled. Shutdown of the airport by the evening.

What I hate is walking in, seeing no one there but the people who probably own the place and not wanting to hurt their feelings by just walking out.
This stupid storm (southern Ontario) is seriously putting a dent in my shopping plans. I have a lot of little things left to do, and I am about 30 miles outside nearest city for shopping and the roads are terrible. Only 3 people showed up for work today, I had to because I live around the corner basically, so have no excuse. Sunday we are supposed to get another storm, so unless Saturday is clear by some miracle, I am going to be running around next week getting stuff. It's always me that has to host Christmas in my family, so there is that too to prepare for.

The other way is worse.
I was at a Chinese-Western place in Consort one day, and I was the only customer. Great food, relatively speaking, but totally unnerving to be sitting there watching the little asian lady who was serving as waitress staring at me trying to determine if their cooking met my satisfaction, and when a good time to refill my drink for the 6th time would be.
The crazy snowfall has almost reached Ottawa and I'm wondering how soon I should leave work. I should stay here until 5 but I've been checking the weather office radar (http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar..._e.html?id=XFT) and it should be snowing pretty good by then.
75 min to closing time, but probably 30 min till I get the fark out of dodge and start my drive to the dome time

I just got in a bit of a tiffy with my moms neighbour because I called him on the fact that he was shovelling snow from the road in front of his house into my moms driveway... which I had just shovelled.
Also - How many calories do you think shovelling the driveway burns?
I think my computer at work hates me. I've got 10 minutes left at work with something to finish and I'm not here next week and it's decided it wants to freeze and not open anything I try in Word.
