I did a brief search for the one with Norm MacDonald's Burt Reynolds but couldn't find it quick enough. Classic!

With our 3rd pick in the CP Television Show Draft, The Channel Surfers select Heroes in the Sci-fi/Fantasycategory.
Quote:
Heroes is an Americanscience fictiontelevision drama series created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006.[1] The plot tells the stories of disparate and ordinary individuals from around the world who inexplicably develop superhuman abilities, and their roles in preventing catastrophes and saving humanity. The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, using short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc.
Now in its third season, NBC's Heroes is starting to pick up steam and gain back a lot of the fans it lost during its sub-par 2nd season. The first season was a really impressive debut, and I'm really hoping it can hopefully get back to that level this year.
I expected to be tying people up as I've seen away from my computer since 2am last night. Now it's 5:50 and I'm still 2 picks away from my next selection

Sorry, I was out of town last night. In the Comedy (Sitcom) category, Team Legen...wait for it...dary, selects Roseanne.
I love watching this show on reruns, I always forget how funny it was. The last season was not very good but that's what usually happened when a show goes on too long. John Goodman is my favorite part of this show, and him and Roseanne had great chemistry together. Lots of people find Roseanne to be an annoying loudmouth, but I think this show was good in spite of it. Their Halloween episodes were always the best.
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
With our next pick, we do not want to wait any longer to ensure our namesake winds up on Team Emerald City... Thus, we are proud to select, the first ever one-hour HBO show, one that paved the way for The Sopranos... A series that launched the careers of an unbelievable number of future television stars - everyone was on this show at one point or another. Not only a critical examination of the American system of crime and punishment, this series proved to be an abstract, theoretical examination of the very nature of these concepts. What exactly is a criminal, and who deserves to judge one as such?.... Oz!
As noted, virtually every Oz alum went on to starring (or at least character roles) is future network shows.. To name a few: Harold Perrineau, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost), Christopher Meloni (Law&Order:SVU), JK Simmons (Law&Order, The Closer), Dean Winters (Rescue Me)
Oz may have even been more influential than The Sopranos, when thinking about the fact that there had never been anything even close to it on TV before.
