I'm not enjoying that celebrity scandle takes presidence over actual news. Britney, Paris, Spitzer (sp?), Detroit's mayor... appariently all more important than any actual news.

Who are you... Adam from Big Brother, or Matt Dillon from There's Something About Mary?

Hey so did I! There was this one kid there, Mongo, he's got a forehead like a drive-in movie theatre. But he's a good s***, so we don't bust his chops.

The UFC.

I have no problem with it until it impedes on my Flame watching.

Went to BP's earlier this year to watch a Saturday night BOA, and they were charging cover due to UFC whatever number. They only put the game on a small corner TV with no volume. Complete BS.

HAHAHA cover charge at a BP's?

I think I'd request to be paid to go to a BP's.

edit: oh yeah, I think UFC is kinda lame too - it was interesting once when I was in high school, I don't think I lasted through one event without losing interest.

wow i can't believe nose studs on girls is so big with everyone here. me and a couple of my buddies just can't stand them. for me they scream white trash, backwoods, slut which makes absolutley no sense but i can't seem to get past it. ufc pisses me off too it's to much of a freakshow and lacks the class of boxing

Haha yeah, and BP's was our 2nd choice. We had already tried the Woody's across the street but they had a $10 cover and wouldnt put the game on even a small TV.

The day a UFC event took precedence over a Saturday night Battle of Alberta is the day I died a little inside.

Boxing is the sweet science. UFC is homoerotic groping.
For the record I like both boxing and MMA (prefer mma), but what is so heterosexual about two shirtless guys hugging each other for an hour, which is what a lot of boxing amounts to these days.

I love hockey, but will watch MMA over hockey anyday.

The fad I really hate and I think its been mentioned are those "business" shorts that women wear to the office that go down to their knees, looks bad imo. Popped collars are bad as well...

Those saying that people with tattoos and piercings have low iq's are ignorant. University grad here with a professional job downtown and I'm in the process of finishing up a sleeve and have many more hours invested in tattoos, not to mention piercings. Lighten up. Besides if something has been around for hundreds of years its not a fad. I got my first stuff done over 10 years ago, not a fad for me.

Well, in all fairness to number 1, it's really starting to decline. Most people now are leaning towards getting a nicer car stock than getting a mediocre car and ricing it up. Which it should be. Rice mobiles are really limited to young drivers such as high school kids. I'm talking about those that put on stickers and a CD-size exhaust thinking that it makes the car go fasters. Those enthusiasts that spend large coin in modifying their cars do a very good job, IMO.

I don't mind piercings, particularly tongue piercings on girls. It totally changes the experience of certain ahem... services rendered.

What I really hate are reality TV shows. When everyone is playing the camera to win the game, how in any way is it "real"? The best reality TV show was the Joe Schmo Show because that guy totally got played.

I could never understand why a woman would want to mutilate their body that way. It's gross and a total turn off.

Regarding stickers and ricers... I'll never forget the feeling of disdain I had for the loser that was my ex g/f's neighbour. Dork pulls up in his FORD FOCUS that is riced to the nines and disses my buddy's Ranger for having a 'Ranger' sticker on the windshield. I'm just sitting there thinking "pot, meet kettle".
Worst part about it was that he made a dum dum comment about whether my buddy actually drives off-road. I thought "can you even drive that P.O.S faster than 110?". F'n spoiler and gigantic tail pipe on a car with a 2.0l engine... DVD player in the dashboard. WTF? IF not for the proximity to the old lady's place, we'd have gotten punchy.

I thought it was a sad reflection of the world today. Not near enough exercise and poor eating habits.
