that episode was horrendous. I could have condensed this entire season into 2 or 3 episodes. The addition of the twins was pointless, Micah et all from New Orleans = pointless. I don't understand why they filed this season with all this garbage.

wow i didn't think flyboy's acting could get any worse after last weeks "Mr. Bennet, what are you doing?", but i was wrong. i wanted to punch him in the mouth everytime they gave him screentime which was much too often. i thought the show had turned a corner after the last couple episodes were quite good, but then they come up with another stinker. i'm actually glad for the writers strike in this case because i can only imagine how much worse it'd be if they had stretched this out over a full length season

'Heroes' Creator Apologizes to Fans
Tim Kring admits mistakes were made at the beginning of season 2, but promises to get back on track
Here's Tim Kring's candid critique:
THE PACE IS TOO SLOW ''We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake.''
THE WORLD-SAVING STAKES SHOULD HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED SOONER
'We took too long to get to the big-picture story,''
THE ROOKIES DIDN'T GREET THEMSELVES PROPERLY
Kring says a few newbies won't make it beyond this second volume, which wraps Dec. 3
HIRO WAS IN JAPAN WAY TOO LONG
'It 'should have [lasted] three episodes. We didn't give the audience enough story to justify the time we allotted it.''
YOUNG LOVE STINKS
''I've seen more convincing romances on TV,'' he admits. ''In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us.''
The Dec. 3 episode has been retooled to function as a potential season finale — a move inspired by the writers' strike and a desire to give the show ''a clean slate'' when it goes back into production for Volume 3. At that point, Kring wants to craft a rebooted Heroes that can attract new fans and win back those who've tuned out: ''The message is that we've heard the complaints — and we're doing something about it.''

Best part of the show was the last 30 seconds and the preview for next week.
I am hating how they've completely ruined Ando's character. He's the guy that doesn't have any powers, but supports Hiro every step of the way with his own dose of courage and bravery. With the way Hiro is, Ando really is not needed anymore, and that is kind of sad. I still think Hiro should be taking Ando with him on his time travel adventures, at least SOME of the time.

I was starting to get excited for this show again, but after last night this show is so up and down this season kind of like our Flames. Some of the storylines this year have been pointless in my opinion. I don't understand why we have the Mexican siblings, the storyline about Mica and his family, they could have done without these storylines this season. Well one more episode left and hopefully they can go out with a bang, and make it interesting enough that people will tune it next season.

I think there's been a lot of editing changes to come to some sort of conclusion and/or cliffhanger for next week, so I'll cut TPTB some slack. It may be mediocre, but after next week, who knows when we'll see a new episode?

Maybe Mica and the superhero girl get killed by the gangbangers, phew, end of that line
Nikki goes back to being a psycho and tearing people in half after Mica dies
Sylar quickly kills the piņata and that story line ends
Parkman deals with Sylar and puts him out for a bit
Annoying Irish broad dies of Shanti virus, but we don't even have to watch since it's in the future
Flying boy is never seen from again and it's rumoured he's killed when Al Qaeda tries to crash him into a building
Elle gets more screen time acting all cute and stuff
Ando suddenly gets powers... making him umm more helpful..?.
Peter gets a brain and stops doing stupid things and trusting everyone, and absorbs Hiro's ability of *not being lame* and as such is not lame anymore!

Speaking of which, why didn't she just climb back out the window when they went in the front door?

I really want Claire gone. She's just terrible. I know that's not going to happen cause she's too popular at this point, but man alive, it's bad. It's painful watching her try and cry, and her voice gets all whiny. Compound that with her little flying boy toy and I can barely keep from turning the channel.
At least one of the Mexican twins is gone now. It's a step in the right direction. Hopefully, Sylar gets back to what he was in the first season. When is he going to be able to start taking powers again??
And I completely agree about Peter being rather trusting. I understand that he is supposed to be the compassionate type that sees the good in others, but you would figure with all that he has learned and seen in the last while, he would start being more cautious.
I am optimistic that the creator will re-tool and simplify by getting rid of all the extra characters. They introduced too many new characters, so it was almost impossible to really develop any of them so that you might care what happened to them.

Nikki dies, she's useless, others are more useless/annoying, but they seem to have a purpose, or storyline.
Pinata dies - she's useless and Sylars got her already. And I can't even remember her name.

The teaser for next week claims 2 Heroes will die. I believe Nathan, Matt, Nikki, Elle and Peter were pictured...we might as well start the speculation. Who do you think will die? And just for fun, which characters do you want to die? Limit it to 2 to keep in the spirit of the teaser (which might be lying for all we know).

About Claire and her storyline, I see your point about the audience knowing her father is still alive, but that's not what ruined it for me, it was the bad acting and writing. If it was done well, then the audience could potentially feel bad for Claire, who is needlessly in pain over the loss of her father because he's still alive. It was honestly the acting that did it in, for me, anyways. Claire attempting to cry was just pathetic and it's been done so many times already. The chick is constantly crying/whining. The only saving grace for me is that it looks like they may be changing her character a little, maybe giving her a little grit. She was quite angry and throwing fists through car windows. If this doesn't last though, I say decapitate her, get rid of her altogether.
The thing about the teaser preview is that even if someone dies, they can now come back, as we have seen with HRG. So we could see a big character "die" and get brought back again.
As for who I want to die, I would say Elle and Mexican chick. Elle is too cutesy for me (the line in one of the last episodes where she says, "Can we keep him?" was just gross.) The Mexican chick, well, her power, I just don't like it.
Who I think will die of the choices that you listed from the preview, I will guess Matt and Nikki.

The thing for me is that it's been, what a day, that HRG got shot and she's mumbling about how the pain won't go away so.... bring in the Haitian!
Meanwhile, Micah and Hiro both lose their fathers in recent episodes and they don't go parading around their pain.

I would suspect Matt Parkman and Nikki will die, given that their roles are becoming useless, and their storylines are headed that way. I don't see Nathn dying, considering the importance of his family in the series.
I would LOVE to see Micah killed off, as well as La Piniata. Killing off Claire wouldn't bother me either, and come to think of it, Molly is the worst child actress I have ever seen, and I hope she self-destructs into oblivion.
This show should be focus around Hiro, Peter, and Sylar. That's it.

Hey aren't you Elle? hehe.
I think it was just so cheesy for the 2nd time in 2 seasons having Claire watching Jim Carey get shot. Remember the damn and the Haitian in season 1?
Can any other show have a cast of so many annoying characters? Claire, flying boy, electrolass, irishgirl, molly, mexican wonder twins and new orleans fastfood girl. Even Peter and Suresh has gone bonkers this season.
They need to change the format of this show to be a superhero war. That is the only way they can save it. Or cast that jason bateman guy from firefly.

They need to concentrate on the main story line. get rid of the Extra stuff.
Claire needs to join up with Peter and become more Gritty.
Nathan needs to come in and join up as well.
I dont mine Parkman.. he could fit well with this group. One thing I dont really want is a Good guys vs Bad guys show.. Same bad guys vs same good guys.. The mystery is part of the fun. How will they stop the Virus. these are good themes.. Just concentrate on them and if you need to introduce new characters that contribute to the main theme... the Mexicans, the Fast food girl have nothing to do with the main story.. Even Sylar now has no part in the main theme..
