This is all kinds of grim at the moment.

Guess Huska didn't want that extra point. No Kadri or Coronato in the shootout.

That is too bad. Team showed some heart tying it up and getting a point. On to Chicago where they hopefully can get some payback and grab two points.

Huby and Ras went with their go-to shootout attempts and Hellebuyck looked like he was well prepared for them. At least Frost tried to surprise him.

Team tank move. Or Zary to try and get him going like would be his usual tactic

I'm guessing their scouting report on Helle was saying 5-hole, because it seemed like a bit of a theme tonight with the Flames shot placement.

You can keep cheering for mushy middle. Some of us have moved on to cheering for a top pick.

Not sorry.

Of course you aren’t. I’m fine with a rebuild, and will be pleased with the opportunity a top pick MAY provide. But I cannot understand being a fan and hoping that the team is unsuccessful in the moment. There are plenty of losses available this year. Cheering for one EVERY game is miserable.

SJS won 20 games last year, and still finished 32nd by 9 points. Even the worst team in the league wins games. Getting upset about it, each time, is just childish.

(the Flames are on pace to win 20 games BTW)

After 20 games last season, every team in the league had at least 15 points. After 20 games this season, the Flames have 13.
