Scoring Winger

Is there any specific reason why Misa didn't start on the top line for the Steelheads this year? He was their leading scorer last year, and clearly very productive again this year.

Dec. 4th:
As mentioned, Misa is named third star, with 2g and a +4 in a 7-4 victory over Guelph. He is tied for 17th in OHL scoring (and 8th in plus/minus), with 25gp/15g/19a/34pts,+18, 2 PIM, after posting 19 points in his last 10 games. Brampton is in 10th place.
Mews gets 2a, and was even, in an 8-4 loss to Oshawa. He is third in scoring by D, with 25gp/7g/24a/31pts,-1, 26 PIM, with 17 points in his last 10 games. Unfortunately, Ottawa sits in 15th place in the standings out of 20 teams. Highly touted D Haoxi "Simon" Wang (who stands 6'6",210lbs) made his debut for the Generals tonight, picking up no points, and finishing at -1.
Saginaw was blanked 2-0 by the Greyhounds, so no points (-1) for Parekh. He is 4th in scoring by D, with 23gp/8g/22a/30pts,+12, 43 PIM. Saginaw is 11th in the OHL.
Still no Basha for Medicine Hat. The Tigers are in second place (points-wise) in the WHL, and 16 year-old Gavin McKenna still leads the WHL in scoring by 10 points, with 57 points in 28 games.
Vancouver loses 5-3 to the Pats, and Lipinski had no points,-1. He also went 12/22 in faceoffs. 16gp/1g/10a/11pts,-4, 12 PIM. Vancouver is 15th out of 22 teams.

No reason was ever given, but perhaps the coach saw something he didn't like in Misa, and preferred Angus MacDonnell in that spot instead. In fact, Misa might owe his promotion to the fact that MacDonnell has been injured since October 25th- the very game that Misa started his breakout....
MacDonnell only had 11 points in the 10 games he was paired with Martone and Rehkopf.

In the past 8 games, Gridin has been named one of the 3 Stars of the Game six times.
He's been first star 3 times, second star once, and third star twice.
