This actually might be a negative for the Oilers. Too much rest between series can throw off a team's momentum. It also means extra rest for Demko before the series starts, provided they're looking to get him in there at some point.

I think VAN is better in net and Defense. And the coach should be better too.
Zadarov, Myers, Soucy needs to hit hard those oilers guys until they scare to go to the corner.
And Van forwards needs to run around Oilers D and make Skinner move.
Then VAN has a chance to win series.

Cansucks are still a more mature team and have better goaltending. They can win might not be a sweep, but they should win this one. LA couldn’t score, but the ####s do have top end talent.

Vancouver has home ice so it should hopefully be the other way around. Edmonton is much better at home than on the road so Vancouver getting 4 out of 7 at home goes in their favour.

If Demko is back, I'm curious how Vancouver handles Demko getting run and how the refs call it. Last year Edmonton went straight after Stones back so I have no doubt they're planning to target Demko.

I do sometimes wonder how you would react if the Oilers actually did win a cup. Same goes for the many others in the vocal crowd.

Like would you quit hockey for a while or would you come up with all the excuses about how the Oilers got lucky and their win doesn't count.

It hasn't happened but would CP completely shut down for a while?
