Overall today they are not. Posts, a disallowed goal. Hawks banking shots off of the Flames into their own net. The Flames aren't playing great but the score is misleading.

This coach sucks and it goes to show even against a team that looks like a bad AHL squad if you are just going to throw everything at the net from far out with no traffic you are not going to succeed. Mrazek is a capable goalie and he is going to stop that crap all day. Minus a few plays everything has been from the outside and easy with perfect sightlines to the puck. No creativity at all.

This period hasn't been great but overall the game is about even. Flames unlucky not to be leading. But they can play much better.
