Flames have outplayed Vegas for 2 periods.
The dreaded first game back home , after a long and difficult road trip (2-2) and schedule, the Flames have been excellent!
Maybe it is time for some of the naysayers to swallow their pride and give some credit to the Flames.
Very entertaining game!

I don't want the refs to make a call anyway. Then they'll just be looking for an even-up call the other way. More than happy for the refs to stay out of it, I just want to watch 5 on 5

Do they even practice the PP, I wonder. Seems like no one, absolutely no one knows what to do with the puck in the offensive zone on a PP.

I am a naysayer and I will give credit to their effort. This team doesn’t quit and they are playing some solid hockey lately.
With that said, they lack game breaking talent and it shows frequently. They won’t compete for a Cup in my opinion and I do not subscribe to the “just get in and anything can happen” narrative.
They are fun to watch this year though, far more entertaining than last season.

Finally caught up. REALLY good hockey game.
Love the effort that the Flames are bringing every night. And as for the offense, I think they are making progress - the goals will come, as the confidence grows.

Play more like they have against Dallas, Colorado, and Vegas and the success will come though.

If they make the playoffs they will be playing a team like one of those, and I like what I see.
