Very similar to Calgary during the Iginla years. Coach after coach. This is the 5th coach for McDavid in Edmonton.

I can’t wrap my head around how this could be considered a serious attempt to save their season…they would have been better off with Woody.
It’s like they are trying to tank but that doesn’t make sense either.
Occam’s razor says they really are just no good, top to bottom

The Flames even tried bringing in Iggy's old junior coach at one point too.
At least Hay had won WHL championships and Memorial Cups with Iggy. Knoblauch and Knobhead didn't win #### together in Erie.

Might be good if they get the new coach bump for a bit, keep them in the mediocre middle rather than competing for yet another first.

They have to play New York and Seattle at home before they can even think about a trip. Hopefully it goes very poorly. They don't have back to backs for a month and a half.
