Too bad they've already done multiple animated seasons and probably wouldn't do it because it would be a retread.

The animation style was always just a bit cheesy and not engaging for me, with the different voice actors for characters we knew.
What we need now is a Darth Vader show. Maybe the storyline runs parallel to something that happened in the past so they can incorporate flashbacks to the Clone Wars for Hayden to show his face and give us more young Ashoka.

Ya they nailed the vibe IMO. Clone war troopers just look awesome... probably the best trooper outfit in the whole series. Really too bad Star Wars wasted that incredible art direction on prequels and animated series.

I don't know if the Ahsoka show is going to be the place to get into all of the nerdy lore for this stuff, but it sure seems like Anakin in the World between Worlds is acting as the "Father" from the Mortis episodes in Clone Wars, showing that he's at peace in his role as the Chosen One who is perfectly balanced between light and dark.

I wonder if we will finally see the Jedi embrace both sides of the force moving forward, the way they used to way back in Legends. Anakin and Ezra are similar in that way, and it makes for more compelling characters IMO, seeing jedi tyring to walk that line. I can't wait for Thrawn/Ezra and the new galaxy in the next episode(s).

Episode 5 though was 11/10 for me. Give Dave Filoni the keys to Star Wars castle already, if he was in charge of the Obi-Wan-Kenobi show I wonder what it could have been.
Well it would've scrapped the Reva arc, that's for sure.

The inquisitors probably would've been portrayed way better/ more competently. As in an organized group that was good at what it does. Not with little hot heads running around committing mutiny and bucking orders who also somehow know about Darth Vader being Anakin, one of the best kept secrets in the galaxy.

Just utter horse shirt that was

I go back and forth on this.

I really dont know anything about Hayden Christensen, and by that I mean, I met him once and he seemed like a nice guy, but as for his acting ability? I really dont know.

For instance, the Prequel Trilogy was awful. Full stop. God. Awful.

However....you had actors like Liam Neeson (Oscar Nominee), Natalie Portman (Oscar Winner), Ewan MacGregor...I'm not going to drag out the point but you have these people who are excellent caliber actors, they all know what they're doing and they all came out rather badly.

So I'm thinking a lot of blame has to be leveled at the Script and Direction.

"Prequel Anakin" was the whiniest wooden bastard of all time. Its damned near unwatchable.

Now though, it feels like he's a character thats got some real depth to him.

Its the same as the Sequel Trilogy. Rey, Poe...all awful. You didnt give a crap about any of them. They gave more depth to BB8.

Seeing Live Action TCW Ahsoka really drives home the whole Jedi using child soldiers thing.

Would it have killed them to have had one bowl of petunias falling from the sky around all those space whales?

I will say this again...Ahsoka is LAME.

There are interesting aspects to this show, but I want a series that follows Captain Carson!

But he has to revert to his Korean accent from Kim's Convenience as Appa.

"We stop Imperials! They no pay!"

Appa vs. Thrawn. I know who I'd put my money on...and if he had a broom...no contest.

Anakin calling out ahsoka for living in the past and being an aimless warrior who lacks conviction is kind of awesome.

Can't star wars just be at that level all the time?

Last couple episodes show just how feasible it is to write engaging and exciting content.

Took letting one guy who understands star wars and actually listened to George's thought process with these arcs and characters to be left alone with the kitchen to cook. Go figure

Other things:

In a lightsaber battle, Prime Anakin should have been able to tune Ahsoka with one hand tied behind his back.

Also...Ahsoka cant possibly be an effective warrior whilst wearing what appear to be 'Hammer Pants.'

It is no longer 1990, although, the concept of 'U can't Touch This' does seem like an advantageous slogan for a lightsaber battle.

You'll never be able to un-see that now.

Oh Star Wars....

"Evasive Maneuvers, get clear of their path!"

- "Just keep driving straight ahead....maybe a little to the right..."

As someone who was disgusted by the latest films (except Rogue), I did not expect Star Wars to be worth my time any more. This series has changed my mind.

I thought Mando seasons 1 and 2 were just as good. Andor is on a whole other level though. That show blows every other SW series out of the water IMO.

I'm enjoying Ahsoka, but as someone who never watched the animated stuff, I guess I'm just not quite as invested in these characters as the more hardcore fans are. It's a cool series though. I'm certainly intrigued by the story so far, those lightsaber duels have been awesome, and I'm loving the John Williams-esque musical score.

I really liked the episode, I wanted way more Anakin in it.

One of the brilliant things. When Anakin fought Ashoka the first time, he fought with a lot of finesse, and a lot like we saw him in Clone Wars.

When Vader arrived his style changed to a power style, where he was just trying to beat down Ashoka's defense. You could feel the rage and hatred.

They could have spent a lot more time with Ashoka confronting her choices to leave the order and Anakin to get real closure.

I loved the flashing to Vader's armor, and I loved the change in Anakin's face and the yellow eyes.

I'm glad they bought Hayden back here and in Obiwan, and let him play good Anakin and Vader. With Filoni's writing, he's just better then George's faster and more intense Hayden advice.

The other thing that was weird. We started on Ryloth, and Ashoka's questioning about losing all those men because of her orders mirrored the episode in Clone Wars where she lost all of her clone pilot squadron.

If nothing else, its just nice that Hayden Christensen can get some work...

Now...how to employ Jake Lloyd...that might get the Guilds off their backs for a minute....

So the world between world transcends time and space right? Theoretically then that should mean it's possible to travel to the past. I'm sure the odds are somewhere around 3720 to 1, but if Thrawn were to come back to the OG galaxy at a time before the rise of the First Order and take it over, thereby nullifying the new trilogy, it would completely restore my faith in the Star Wars universe

I'd actually put those chances at 0, since there's an upcoming Rey movie that takes place a few years after the sequels.

LOL, I'd say that there is zero chance of that happening.

I was wondering about non force users being able to access the WBW. We saw that Imperial Scientist try to, but had to physically go through a portal that he couldn't open. Thrawn would have to find a portal.

Palpatine badly wanted to access the WBW but he even needed Ezra's help in the end to get in.

Disney's going to put money in the Rey movie so I doubt they're going to scrub it.

I also have a feeling that we haven't seen the end of Anakin in Ashoka.
