You had to know that Dallas was going to win a game in this series. Outside of game 3 it's been a toss up in the other games.

Should really be a 2-2 series if Suter hadn't gifted Las Vegas Game 2. Dallas was really the better team in that one.

Well if we're basing it on who played better in which games, the east final would be either tied 2-2 or 3-1 canes.

Dallas is a lot more likable with Benn gone.
Less slimy.
I'm glad it wasn't a sweep. Hope they can push it go 6, makes it more interesting.

Dallas has had a long history of slimy players. It has made it hard for me to truly embrace them as my team after moving to this part of the country a decade ago. Whether it was Ott, Ribeiro, Roussel, Benn, or anyone else, they just really seem to always have a slimy guy or two around.
I am hoping Benn retires sooner rather than later and the team is based around Heiskanen, Oettinger, Hintz, Robertson, etc for years to come. That is a team that's easy to get behind.

No, it's dependent on how long this series goes.
They already have a date set for the SCF if the Stars are eliminated on Saturday and it's pushed a few days if it's Monday, etc..

Sean Avery too. At least they realized their error on that one and cut ties with him after the sloppy seconds incident.

Forgot about him! Though I found more humor in the sloppy seconds drama than you guys did as Phaneuf fans. But he certainly had enough other incidents that just about anyone would have a beef with him for one reason or another.

Well if it's Vegas especially arena availability is tight, could have been a long ass layoff.

Here is the Stanley Cup Final schedule for both scenarios.

Glad that the Stars won so that the series is prolonged. It was an entertaining game and Saturday night in Las Vegas should be terrific, hopefully the Stars win again.
