I agree I don't think it's a conspiracy. I do think the Oilers get away with far too much and draw more than they they should though.
That first period couldn't be any clearer. That Nurse cross-check was ridiculous. Refs also need to call embellishment more than they do.

Yes I forgot oilers have big plugs like Kostin and desharnais who are good for little more than hitting and gooning it up. If refs aren’t going to call that garbage the kings don’t seem to have that type of team. No Macdermids on L.A. anymore.
Just need to score when pylons like that are on the ice.

McDavid, the golden child, doesn’t play for LA. Do you people not remember when Gretzky played for Edmonton? It was the same bull####. Calls often went Edmontons way because Gretzky played for them.

Think they need a fortunate bounce to build some confidence.
This was a high flying offensive team for much of the season but they just look snakebitten or gripping it too tight right now.
Kopitar had the right idea on that last shift.

This is going to fly in the face of everything CP holds dear, but I'm just going to say it. The Oilers look good. They will take this series in 6. Toxic fandom needs to end from all sides. As a flames fan, it's time to let go of the hatred and realize they look exciting and fun to watch, unlike us, who are easily in the darkest timeline.
