We moved to Saskatoon. Almost every kid here is an Oiler fan, because of McDavid. It’s sickening. Meanwhile Gaudreau left, so the little man doesn’t have many stars or recognizable stars to cheer for. He’s starting to make concerning comments about still liking the Flames but also kinda liking the Oilers.

To my shock and delight he states he wants to stay up and watch the game tonight, so I let him. He was so ####ing bored after the 2nd he requested to go to bed (plus we are an hour ahead, so getting pretty late here). So disappointing. How does this team expect to get and maintain fans with this bull####? This is total garbage. So boring, so passionless, so listless. Nobody gives and #### and they’re supposed to be in a playoff race. All of these bums can get the #### out and none of them deserve to be a part of the Flames. Nobody willing to go to the middle of the ice or even try, despite being paid millions. No pride. Awful. No wonder every kid from here to Timbuktu is becoming an Oiler fan which is the next generation.

Does Sutter actually do any coaching? I see no evidence of video prep, no in-game adjustments, no attempts to take advantage of any player who looks like they’re having a good game, no evidence of any awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of the opponent or how to best play them…

That would be incredible, but that list entails a whole lot of things to go right for the Flames. Likely to have less than half of those come true.
