It's an excellent jersey and uniform setup; striping, coloring, unique name and numbers...but as mentioned before, a chance to do something for a one off jersey, and the league and Flames play it super safe with the logo and it ruins the whole thing.
At very least put the Flaming C on one shoulder, use the bucking horse from the Stampeders set (the name itself is referenced in the official notes, and CSEC owns the Stampeders and all their IP) and put that in the roundel as was worn all those years ago.
Putting the Flaming C in there just makes it look like the logo you'd find on a water bottle, tote bag, cheap hat, pennant or anything you'd find grey market at a souvenir store on 8th Avenue. As much as they've tried to tweak the C and some stitiching in the logo etc, the whole logo it simply comes across as super generic, dull, safe and lazy.

Have said the Flames should have 3 jerseys: A red C on white, a white C on red, and a black C on red. Not sure about the white C on white.

At least it looks like they won't have the Heritage Classic logo on the jerseys because that thing is a straight-up Oilers logo.

Got mine today. Looks really nice in person. The numbers on the back are plain red with yellow stitching.
I have a hookup in the organization for jerseys. I’ve been told that there’s some sort of weird deal with the company that does the lettering and Great Plains might not have the proper lettering (?). I can’t quite recall the exact issue but when I was picking which player I wanted I was told the jersey was limited to Kadri, Lindholm, Huberdeau, and Mang as Scorp already stated. Sounds like those will be the only pre-crested options available. You might have to buy blank and ship it away for other players.

I went later in the day and was told that they can get them customized, but they have to send them out of province. Won't be ready for 6-8 weeks.

Better than current. The red filled-in roundel without any white makes the yellow old timey style of the letters more noticeable.

It's the felt finish. It's relatively intricate and I believe it extends beyond what Great Plains is capable of doing.
