It wouldn't affect athletic fields, but for stuff like some road medians and green spaces the city is 'naturalizing' quite a lot, whether it's by re-introducing native species or literally just letting them go back to nature by ignoring them. Supposed to be good for the bees and whatnot I guess

I don’t play in the field. I don’t see any kids playing in it since the dandelions took over. Not sure how that makes me soft but you do you I guess.

Yeah, it does. I don’t think I knew growing up or know now in any of my friends/family’s kids a single one who cares about dandelions, outside of thinking they’re “pretty flowers” or playing with them.
But let’s say it doesn’t. Because then, even complaining about dandelions on the internet makes you soft.
You’re kind of screwed either way here.
It’s ok to be a soft boi though. Embrace it!
