Apart from a thorough domination, the biggest thing I want to see os Tkachuk not wasting his time on scrubs. If he’s gonna agitate, there’s exactly 2 targets that matter and are worthy of actually engaging with him.

Expecting the worst of course since this is the Flames vs the NHLs golden boys but this really should be a winnable series.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. I know Smith has had good numbers, but the Flames had like 50+ shots multiple times and barely scored, imagine Smith with that and the high danger chances the Flames can generate.

The experience of the Dallas team in the playoffs is so under rated by Oilers fans, it is unreal. The Kings are so young and rebuilding, it is a different beast playing an experience playoff team in round 1. It'll setup the Flames well getting out of that first round.

In the Rags/Carolina game at intermission they just showed an interview with Tkachuk where she brought up he was the most penalized player between the two clubs in their head to head meetings. He said “ah well I’ll save that stuff for the next season, have to stay out of the box against them”

Every time I head him give an interview I start thinking “future captain”

Same here. As long as the Flames can stick to their game plan and stay out of the box, this should be a good series, but tilt to the 'good guys'.

Red Lot tix were weird anyway. You could only get 2 and they were non transferable. So if 4 friends submitted and one got them and the others didn’t, and they wanted to stick together as a group, the tix were useless. Can’t go, can’t even give them away.

Mike Smith is an idiot…but even in that series against Colorado his play on the ice was not a problem.

He’s been good in the playoffs historically. Going to need lots of traffic and to try to get under his skin.
