Simple, hard nosed hockey from the Kings, and it's 2 - 0 suddenly. LOL

Kings are slow as hell though, not much room out there for them.

Is McDavid simply too fast to hit? I don't understand why so many defenders just swing their sticks at him instead of trying to take the body

That goal by McDavid was incredible and I don’t understand how he can pull that off in the NHL.

Kings are going to have to stop letting McDavid feed them their lunch. Everytbing else is going fine, but tighten up on 97

Too fast, too agile and has probably the best instincts on the rush. As much as I think the guy is a loser he's extremely tough to shut down once he gets full speed. As soon as you give him an inkling you're cutting off a side he's able to blow by you the other direction and make you look silly.
That's just with your stick, if you try and commit to a check he'll easily walk you with his speed as there's just too much of a speed differential.

It really is a godsend he’s not playing for a semi-competent organization. Can you imagine?

Ya it's really a shame. If he had the grooming Crosby got we could have been looking at one of the best players of all time. Unfortunately for him he just got spoiled and anointed the supreme overlord of hockey and hasn't improved any part of his game substantially since he joined the league. His entitled attitude and the entire hockey world bowing to him constantly has just made him a one dimensional, me first player who doesn't offer anything other than the occasional highlight reel goal and soft points.

It’s nice the league rewards teams for having skaters who are weak in their skates.
