So apparently the drivers meeting, post F1 and Team meeting, has been going on for close to 2 hours. Wonder if the drivers will choose not to race. Does it need to be unaminous or majority rule?

Completely agree. It's a disgrace that F1 is racing in Saudi Arabia to begin with. One of the vilest governments on the planet and now there's literal missiles hitting facilities 10km away.

Whataboutism? If we can't talk about a missile hitting 10km away during an F1 weekend and drivers holding a 4-5hr meeting while being giving veiled threats from a State govt, where can we talk about it?
I'm finding it very hard to support businesses actively involved in countries like Russia, Saudi etc.

I think something like the bolded happened a couple years ago to a bunch of WWE folks getting stuck in a plane on the tarmac not being allowed to leave or something. IIRC Vince McMahon and some of the biggest stars had already left on a private jet.
I think I'd be having a Juan Pablo Montoya "tennis" accident the week before the Saudi race (if I weren't a championship contender).
