From that distance, it is IMPOSSIBLE to react to the shot. It either hits you or it doesn't. If his arm was an inch closer to his body, he saves it. It wasn't. He didn't.

The goalie covers less than 1005 of the net. If the shooter puts it somewhere the goalie ain't its's a goal.

You hating on Markstrom changes none of the math.

There is a difference between blaming the goalie and pointing out the puck went right through him. I'm sure if you asked him he would say he should have saved it.

I was unaware we can't say anything negative about our goaltending. I mean, it's been pretty bad this year.

You can. But it's pretty obvious once you get someone in your crosshairs you post pretty much non-stop negativity about them. First Ward, and now Markstrom. Maybe just cut the guy a bit of slack when he's playing well. It's a breakaway goal. It happens. It wasn't a stinker.
