Is it possible that Sutter has actually made the Flames worse? It feels like it lately. They're averaging less than a gola-per-game over the last handful of games. That's not good.

Sutter has proven again and again that he's among the elite of the elite.
Sutter himself said this season was too short to overhaul the systems. This season is much less about making the playoffs and much more about finding out who stays and who goes.

Their breakouts and d zone structure look far more competent, but the dump and chase has not worked for them
