Yes, they are currently giving us nothing
Particularly Tkachuk, he is driving me crazy with his stupid plays. And standing still - I am surprised Sutter hasn't benched him yet.
Nonetheless, the Flames are going to be better in the 2nd, and they are coming back in this game.

I really wondered if Tkachuk was a Sutter player. I thought it was 50-50. Early days but I am having doubts.

I've always wondered if certain players were resentful of Chucky being the highest paid Flame, and that if it was one of the reasons for the rumored bad blood in the locker room.

I would rather have a top line that can possess a puck than a top line that thrives on giving the puck away (dump-ins) and trying to use physicality to get it back.
I don't care how big the players are. Gaudreau needs to play with good players. With all due respect to Ritchie, he is the 20th-best player in this Flames lineup tonight.

Sutter's coaching is built for speed and Chucky is arguably the worse skater in the league. I'm not sure he fits this system so Tre should be looking at moving him. Just to qualify him next year, yuk. Him and Gio moved would free us up for so many options.

Tkachuk is most likely a UFA in 2023 unless you overpay him big time for a long term.

Chucky needs the K.I.S.S treatment. Hes still trying east west stuff when everyone else is going north south. He shouldn't have been three inches from L8ndholm behind the Oilers net when Dube had possession.

Kelly Hrudey is usually pretty bad but that period was something else. Rick Ball wasn’t even giving him the courtesy laugh track chuckle in response. Never heard that before from Ball.
