Good take by the first overtime caller Mike. The Flames aren’t skilled enough to outskill the Lightning, they’re not tough enough to outlast the Blues, they’re not fast enough to keep up with the Habs, etc. What is the identity? Pick something and be the best at it. They’ve got 1 or 2 players that excel in each of these areas but as a whole they just end up mediocre.

The team is fragile AND they (coaches and management and I guess radio guys) want the players to be the ones who kind of drive the bus. They want the players to take charge of it themselves but they can't currently. No one is stepping up.
Someone take control of this mess. No more talking. What's the Jordan quote?
- some want it to happen, some wish it to happen, others make it happen.
Nobody is making anything happen. No one is taking control. Everyone is looking for someone else to do something. Get up! Have some pride and purpose!!

When some good leaders lead people, they listen to what their team members have to offer, figure out the game plan, lay it out to the team, and the leaders magically end up succeeding within the framework they structure

Is it a clip of Gelinas actually doing it or it's a clip of Friedman said Gelinas doing it. I have no confidence on anything Friedman say anymore, he seems to like to stir  for the sake of stirring .

Robert is pushing for the "blow-it-up" scenario. Saying - the Islanders lost Tavares to free agency, but won with a good coach. Do the Vegas model from the goaltender out.
Pat - If they're going to rebuild, need to make a significant trade from the core. How do you do that when the core isn't playing well? Can something be done during this COVID season? How do we get good value for our talent?
