This always cracks me up. Western society is not based on freedom, its based on laws. Every single day there are a hundred different things I would like to do but I can't. Adding another inconsequential one to the list to help keep people safe and all of a sudden the freedom fighters come out of the woodwork.

He got a lot of attention in atom and peewee as a child prodigy, and then did not make AAA/AA in Bantam and had to play community... there were rumors around this that I won't repeat.

Ironically given Hinshaw's address last night all he's done is pretty much terminate outdoor hockey this winter.

Kids were playing shinny every where, and disbanding if the numbers got too high or when told. Now with more succinct guidelines and a very clear cut precedent it's pretty much done.

I can't find his mom's facebook but the scuttlebutt, if you will, is that she's a fervid anti-masker, per her FB postings. So I'm thinking it's a CYA thing, for his brother, and that they had help drafting that from the Sharks.
