Bizarre refereeing. To give some further context, in the second half there had been 5 subs, two penalties, a red card, 2 video reviews and a drinks break, and the ref not only doesn't add any additional time but finishes it early.
They tried to get the game going again 40 minutes later. Mali came out but Tunisia didn't as their players had taken ice baths, so the end result stood.
Apparently the referee was suffering from severe heatstroke and spend several days in hospital recovering. He forgot to stop his watch during the water break.
Honoured by FIFA for her goal-scoring exploits Monday, Canada captain Christine Sinclair confirmed she has more to do on and off the soccer pitch.
Sinclair has already taken part in five World Cups, four Olympic tournaments and been shortlisted for FIFA women's world player of the year seven times (in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016).

She might be the best female athlete all time from Canada.
Who else would be on that list?
We've had some great female athletes but can any others be considered the greatest ever in their sport all time...
I'd put Clara Hughes as the Greatest Female Athlete Canada has ever produced and possible best male or female.
She is one of only six people to have podium finishes in the Winter and Summer versions of the Games, and is the only person ever to have won multiple medals in both.
She in my opinion is a straight up beast. Sinclair is in the list, and near the top no doubt, but sorry Hughes is untouchable.

First time ever qualifying for African Nations and they beat a giant. They need a miracle on Thursday. They need Algeria to not beat Ivory Coast and Sierra Leone to beat Equatorial Guinea by 2 or more in order to get the final best 3rd place spot.
Also, Senegal won their group scoring only 1 goal.
