Is it his time in Vancouver and LA that makes him talk like that? He strikes me as one of those people who move to England for a semester and come back with a try hard accent and a love of pubs and tea mate.

Now I hope fans understand what value Bennett has. He's shown that he's never going to be the scorer he was drafted for, but he plays hard, plays a little wreakless, but he does a lot of things right when he's not taking penalties. As a third line player, he's perfect. Not worth trading him for another third line value like a 4th round pick or whatever others think he'd go for.

I think the most encouraging thing from that period is it seems like every single Flame has come to play. What a relief. I hope they keep that right through to the final buzzer.

It was actually Hanifin with the block, it hit Talbot on it's way wide. This is just after the puck hit's Hanifin's stick and starts angling wide and off Talbot's shoulder:
Backlund also disrupted Eakin from getting the first shot off with the empty net.

As much as I hate to say it Bieksa is really doing a excellent job. His haircut looks dumb as #### but as long as he keeps saying smart ass comments to Ron they should keep him around.
Ugh that felt gross to say.

Agreed, he is a total Viking in the playoffs.
I think that he could also still do better in the regular season. I am sure with steady linemates, a third line center role and some sparse PP time he could still put up some points.
No matter the circumstance, he is a big game player. If we ever want to become contenders we need more players like Bennett.

I never meant to agree with Kevin Bieksa!
