I don't think the RCMP is really worth the time and money, its become such a broken institution with so many problems. I think its important that we have some kind of national policing presence that's more around setting standards for provincial based law enforcement.


I honestly think that you could build a concept of a RCMP that is there to in a way police the police, and provide things like standardized labs or specialized investigatory mandates. IE national terrorist threats. Or espionage. But I don't think we need a national general police force. And they've been bad at it for a while


Oh and we could keep a ceremonial group that hands out the Grey Cup, and marches around on Canada day.

With the amount of un-answered questions about the relationship between the shooter and the RCMP it shows just how soft and scared and controlled our media is in Canada.

This tragedy shouldn't be let go without the truth.

EDIT: we all know after this anniversary it'll be forgotten by most.
