Well... to be fair, this is exactly the kind of game we use to end up losing because of the curse.

We're just one instance of a Ducks player punching a Flames player on our bench, but us getting two penalties in response and them scoring twice on the ensuing 5-on-3. Followed by a goal against batted in with a stick 3' above the crossbar, but still being allowed even after a review... and then a goal that goes in off of two Flames players with five seconds left to send it to OT... And then losing in the shootout.

Literally why it was called a curse.

Anyone notice after Johnnys first breakaway you could see him say “f*** I’m bad at breakaways”

Johnny Gaudreau may never score on a breakaway again.

It didn’t look like Johnny was buying what Rittich was selling.

It makes sense on so many levels. Brodie on his natural elite side. Two elite skaters who can make gaps dissipate in a fraction of a second. A shooter (Kylington) and a passer (Brodie). Two guys who can skate the puck out of trouble in the D zone.

It has the potential to be one of the funnest pairs since the Josi-Ellis pair Nashville used to have.
