Well... to be fair, this is exactly the kind of game we use to end up losing because of the curse.
We're just one instance of a Ducks player punching a Flames player on our bench, but us getting two penalties in response and them scoring twice on the ensuing 5-on-3. Followed by a goal against batted in with a stick 3' above the crossbar, but still being allowed even after a review... and then a goal that goes in off of two Flames players with five seconds left to send it to OT... And then losing in the shootout.
Literally why it was called a curse.

It makes sense on so many levels. Brodie on his natural elite side. Two elite skaters who can make gaps dissipate in a fraction of a second. A shooter (Kylington) and a passer (Brodie). Two guys who can skate the puck out of trouble in the D zone.
It has the potential to be one of the funnest pairs since the Josi-Ellis pair Nashville used to have.
