I pretty much skipped through the first 30 minutes. I don't care for that stuff at all. I'm sure it means loads to the players, but not to me.

Finally caught the episode. Nearly slept through the first half. I get that it makes the players happy, but do any viewers really care about the contestants families? That didn't need to be half an episode.

I was quite amused with Tony's Immunity win. "I won a challenge with patience??" The wonder and amusement in his voice was pretty funny.

The really hardcore fans do. They've been following these players on social media for pretty much a decade and know a lot about their endeavours outside the game and their families. Also, going forward, who knows if 41 will even have the visits due to travel restrictions and what not as they haven't filmed yet, so maybe it was extended in editing as a swan song.

sure but that is the kinda content you can get online if you so choose...I don't really care for family visits to begin with on survivor. Boo Hoo you are on a tropical island for 30 some days trying to win 1M (2M in this case)

I thought that part was pretty darn cool. First time they brought out the whole family, I could just imagine being able to see your kid(s) at that moment. And the gesture of even giving the people on Edge of Extinction that mental boost, was just awesome.

Loved it.

Wow. This season makes for great TV. Tony is up there with Boston Rob for characters.

Holy ####

Cagayan Tony is back and I love it. Pure entertainment!

If Sophie's idol goes back in the game, I'm sure he'll do everything he can to find it.

Happy that he saved Jeremy too. But I won't be surprised if he flips back next week.

Well, that was a pretty interesting episode, and it's sure blown things up quite a bit.

I loved the Extortion Advantage. It was pretty neat move, but I felt that Tony was the wrong person to send it to, as a double agent he was easily able to rustle up the needed tokens.

That was also a pretty good move for him...but it might cost him his spot. Though, if he doesn't win Immunity, he's got an Idol still.

Surprised to see Sophie go. I thought she was playing really well and was going to go much further.

I’m starting to think Tony is the front runner. Playing both sides and has an idol. And I’m so excited for the next episode if he’s making tree spy shacks like the scenes showed

They need to stop the scrums at tribal. It's getting out of hand and distracts from what tribal is all about.
They should do a full roll back to the beginning. No idols, no scrums, no coins, nothing, just play the game!

No way. That’s so boring. Tonight was fantastic.

Agreed with the scrums part. They really need to get rid of that. Makes the camp stuff kind of meaningless. And it's kind of annoying to watch IMO.

Kim is probably the best name that Tony has taken out in his three seasons. Rob is right, Tony is a boss and deserves serious credit for getting 5 people to vote together given how unlikely it was looking the entire episode. And Jeremy and Sarah trusted him enough to not use an idol, even after all the whispers. Those two showed some serious balls in this episode.

Dropping out of the challenge for peanut butter was something I never expected Kim to do.

Not a bad episode at all. I read an article last week that talked about "Is it time to ban whispering at Tribal" and I wasn't sure about it...but I was rolling my eyes and saying "Here we go again" when it started up, so maybe the seeds been planted in me. At least we got to see/hear a bit more that went on with the scrums, which helped some.

All the scrums have really shown me is that for the most part they're all pulling their strategies out of their butts and none of these people have a long term game plan, and its going to back fire in a big way.

The Jury is right, Tony is running this game, however he did give away that he had another idol tonight so if he doesn't win immunity next week the sell has to be that that idol has to be played.

Ben still doesn't impress me much.

Kim just basically had a 2 million dollar cookie.

Kim laid such a beating down in One World she forgot how to play competent Survivor.

There’s no need to ban whispering. They are mic’d. Just have the sound people relay to Jeff what’s being said and he can ask questions about it. It will put a stop to it pretty quickly.

So we can just have lame questions from Jeff at tribal again?

The tribals this season have been the best part, why would you want that neutered?
