The demand for tickets doesn't seem as high as previous years playoffs. Probably a combination of the current economic conditions and the high face values.

Many of the tickets being released today are the ones that were held for the players, NHL, media, etc. That's why most of the tickets available right now are in 103 and 104. There are also a bunch in 214 and a few in PL16 and PL17. This is so that fans who couldn't get tickets when they initially went on sale, can still get some face value tickets. The prices on the vast majority of tickets in the second and third levels are still the same as when they were released last week. The lower bowls ones look a little cheaper, but if you have unsold tickets, and you're the Flames, wouldn't you want to sell them? There are only about 50 tickets in the lower bowl (not counting the 103 and 104 game day releases), so they priced it pretty close to market. I'm not sure what you think the Flames are pulling, as it looks like they are trying to sell tickets to their event. They priced them a little high to sell out, so now they are dropping the price slightly.
