Ryan might not be flashy but he was one of the best UFA signings this off season and has more to do with the Flames record than many think IMO.

Probably the best player in the bottom six overall this season

If we are going to complain about fan behavior, could we pick on the glass pounding crowd please?

In Hanifin's post-game interview he says that someone threw a Lindholm jersey against the mesh before one of the intermissions (that is the rumor anyways). Maybe that's the area he seemed to be focusing on during his celebration.

Pretty funny anyways.

Bah, don't worry about that. You could make a news story out of literally every single thing that happens on this earth with "Thing happens, couple freaks send death threats".

It's irrelevant and the fact that we constantly make it relevant shows how we're unable to grasp how insignificant an insignificant portion of the population is with dumb comments.

Death threats held against fan bases and glorified on social media is so ****ing stupid. They need to be held against unstable human beings and trolls and counted for how rare they are per capita in society.

Did Flames fan boo Ferland and Hamilton when they played in the Saddledome a couple of weeks ago?

Rittich probably had no clue what Lindholm was doing with his hand clap but hey it looks fun so why not join in?

Nope. They got a nice applause when announced as the starting lineup and for the "welcome back" video.

That was after Ferly hit Gio and they got into it a bit too.

When I think of banging on the glass, this gif of Backlund comes to mind.

(I know there are better versions, this is the best I could find).

Ya, if they could turn Hamilton and Ferland into a solid d-man and a game breaking winger, they would be a team to be reckoned with.

Gotta say I liked Neal's work on the Hanifin goal.

Although Neal isn't scoring as we expected, he has been playing better of late, and could be huge in the playoffs.

I don't mind the Canes celebrations. Let them do whatever they want to after a win. But man, Lindholm mocking them was savage af and I couldn't help but love it.

Especially since Lindholm and Hanifin were immediately locked up long term and became big parts of our core going forward...

Slam dunk, regardless of whether Fox signs and turns into anything for Carolina I'd say.

If Carolina would offer that same trade back right now Treliving would burst into uncontrollable laughter. That to me shows just how much of a slam dunk the trade really was. I thought it was a fairly even trade at the time, but a little over half a season later it's not anywhere close to even anymore. And that is with both Ferland and Hamilton having pretty good seasons. It's just fantastic.
