Interesting intermission discussion about Ferland. I wonder if he can be a rental for a Flames playoff run. It sounds like the Flames wouldn't be able to afford a contract for next year but a couple draft picks and/or a prospect might be able to secure him for the playoffs.

I think the Flames with Ferland in the playoffs would be unstoppable.

Already being discussed in the Ferland thread, but I definitely love the idea. The reported as is a 1st and a prospect though so not so sure about that
