Pretty much said he’s shocked the way the team is playing and that the season is on the line and he expected them to show some heart and effort but nothing is there. Ended with “it’s completely mind boggling”.

Pretty much. Assuming that what we heard on GG's contract expiring this year might as well just let it run out and not bring him back. No point in giving one of the assistant coaches temporary reign as they are terrible as well. Wait until the seasons over and then clean house.

Nah, Treliving was pretty honest about his disappointment with the team's performance in his interview the other day (yesterday?). And he was pretty adamant that he wasn't throwing in the towel on the season. So I'd say it's pretty clear that he does indeed have pride. He's not dumb. He's no doubt feeling the heat, and he knows he's gonna have to make some big changes this summer.
