The refs missed a lot on the Flames as well. Gio alone got away with 2 or 3 clear penalties. This game wasn't lost because of reffing.

You don’t think things might have been different with a 2 minute 5 on3 with a flames team that was hot on the pp all game? Literally after that non call the Canuck’s scored 2 quick ones to seal the deal. The slash that breaks a stick is supposed to be automatic, show me the highlights of all the missed calls on the flames you talked about, because it’s been pretty uneven a lot of games this year. Funny you don’t realize how penalties can play a huge role in the outcome of games. That non call didn’t piss you off?

Going from memory, but the broken stick made it easy for the puck to exit the zone (the pack went right to the point where Versteeg would have been had his stick not been broken. Instead the zone is cleared and fresh penalty killers come on the ice. It was a very unfortunate series for the Flames.
