I'm calling it now, we will see a slashing penalty call this year where the defender just feigns towards the other player's hands.
I'm having flashbacks to the obstruction/hooking/holding crackdown after the lockout.

On the replay, Hamilton slashes the blade of the Sens player's stick. I'm not sure what these refs are being told to call, but that's a goddam hockey play.
